I have dedicated over 11 years to working as a clinical psychologist in private practice, as well as serving in the South African public sector. This experience has allowed me to develop a deep understanding and expertise in my field.
I am registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) and the Psychological Society of South Africa (PsySSA), further affirming my commitment to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and ethical conduct.
I believe that it is important for clinical psychologists to be lifelong learners. By staying up-to-date on the latest developments in the field, I provide my clients with the best possible care and help them to achieve their mental health goals.
In my practice, I strive to create a safe, neutral and supportive environment where my clients feel heard and understood. I believe that true healing and personal growth can occur through collaboration, mindfulness, and a shared commitment to learning and development.
I deeply value the understanding that therapy is not a one-size-fits-all approach. That is precisely why I specialise in offering personalised and adaptable therapies to cater to your specific needs and circumstances.
I take great pride in my commitment to each client's journey within our consultation rooms. My goal is to assist all my clients in gaining a deeper understanding of themselves and providing them with the necessary tools to achieve personal growth. It is a privileged transformational journey that I am wholeheartedly committed to.
I genuinely believe that mental health is an essential aspect of overall well-being. Now that you know a little about me and my background, I am ready to hear yours.

As a senior lecturer at the University of Limpopo at the Turfloop Campus, I have acquired extensive expertise and am deeply passionate about facilitating student learning and development. As a supervisor, I was devoted to supporting students in their research endeavours and professional growth. I possess a strong track record of success in teaching, training, and supervising students in psychology. I have delivered lectures to both undergraduate and postgraduate students, managed third-level programmes, and provided guidance to master's students in psychotherapy skills. Additionally, I’ve overseen and collaborated on psychology postgraduate research projects at various levels, including PhD, honours, and bachelors degrees. Furthermore, I’ve contributed to the editing of peer-reviewed papers for the South African Journal of Psychology and have actively participated in the creation of study materials.
During my tenure at the Mankweng Hospital in Mankweng, Limpopo, as a clinical psychologist, I had the opportunity to develop and refine my skills in therapy and assessment. I conducted employee wellness programmes and offered psychological services to children and adults. I am proficient in conducting psychometric assessments, including those related to school placement and learning disorders, as well as neuropsychological and personality disorder assessments. I am also experienced in providing play therapy to children who have suffered trauma, such as sexual and physical abuse, and offering therapy to their families. Additionally, I have provided therapy to individuals who have experienced sexual trauma and domestic violence, as well as their families, specifically at Thuthuzela Care Centre in Mankweng, Limpopo.
Furthermore, I have expertise in providing therapy to patients through customised employee wellness programmes. I supervised intern clinical psychologists, engaged in academic activities such as teaching intern psychologists at both the Polokwane Provincial Hospital and Mankweng Hospital, and provided tutorials to Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery students at the University of Limpopo. I also trained Masters of Medicine Psychiatry Registrars on psychotherapy and organised continuing professional development (CPD) activities for employees in collaboration with other professionals at the Mankweng Hospital. Additionally, I was responsible for managing records and resources, conducting and supporting research, and overseeing the unit in the absence of the unit manager.
