We understand that life happens, and sometimes you may need to cancel your appointment. We ask for a minimum of 24 hours notice for cancellations.

We know that cancelling an appointment can be difficult, and we want to assure you that we are here to support you in your journey. If you need to cancel, please reach out to us as soon as possible. We will do our best to work with you to reschedule your appointment for a time that is convenient for you.

If you cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours' notice, you will be charged in full. This fee is equal to the cost of your session. We understand that this may be inconvenient, but it is necessary to cover the cost of the lost appointment time.

We kindly ask for your understanding that cancelled or missed appointments result in a loss of valuable time for both the psychologist and the client. When a client cancels with little to no notice, it leaves an opening that could have been filled by another client who urgently requires an appointment.

Additionally, maintaining a therapeutic environment requires the establishment of boundaries to foster a containing a conducive healing environment, including the policy on cancellations. This includes the client's interaction with the psychologist as well as the psycho-therapy structure, emotional environment, and physical environment. By adhering to this policy, we can ensure the provision of high-quality psychotherapy to all clients.

Please be aware that the full consultation fee is payable and cannot be reimbursed by the medical aid.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. 

Payment can be made via medical aid, online, card or cash payments.

Our rates:

  • R1250.00 for the first 50-minute session
  • R1000.00 for the follow-up sessions of a 50-minutes

Medical Aid:
Clients making use of medical aid are charged approved rates and funds are claimed directly from the medical aid. If sufficient medical funds are available, no co-payments or levies exist. Clients remain responsible for accounts, if not covered by medical aid. It is recommended that clients check whether there are sufficient funds available. You can do so directly with the medical scheme before initiating therapy or setting up the appointment.

Private Payment:
Alternatively, accounts must be settled via card or cash on the day of the consultation at our practice.

Please Note: All accounts are to be settled at the session. If medical aid claims are rejected or sessions are invoiced for specific agreed-upon reasons, the account is to be settled within 30 days of invoicing. After 90 days, accounts will be handed over for debt collection.

Cancellations: Please allow at least 24-hours notice when cancelling a session. Sessions cancelled without 24-hour notice will be charged in full.
